anglers discover new fishing products and learn new techniques. Great content is at the heart of what we do and we are looking for a creative writer/editor to help us create, curate, and manage all forms of content from written to photographic to video.
As a content manager you will be responsible for
Creating engaging social media content that is on-brand.
Writing website and advertisement copy.
Creating product related content both on-site and in-box.
Writing/sourcing content for the Mystery Tackle Box blog.
Creating content for email blasts.
Developing editorial/content calendars for MTB content.
Managing a team of freelance writers.
Brainstorming/scripting MTB video content.
We are looking for candidates with the following relevant experience/skill sets:
2-4 years of copywriting, or related writing experience.
A strong understanding of and passion for the fishing industry.
The ability to communicate with and manage a team of writers.
Capable of wearing multiple hats and handling multiple projects at once.
The ability to adapt to change and take ownership of projects.
A good sense of humor (after all, you have to write video scripts for this guy).
