Summary:
The role of Marketing Director is to support Company consumer division in execution of marketing planning around key business strategies while delivering targeted sales & profitability goals for the Business.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. To grow the business in the US while delivering key budget targets & goals as agreed annually
2. Develop the annual Marketing Budget in order to leverage against business growth KPI's while ensuring all areas of spend are designed to support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
3. Generate dynamic strategic promotional platforms that sustain and grow Company's position within relevant retail and food service categories identified in the business plan.
4. Execute marketing strategies that build on existing platforms and deliver tools for ongoing sales growth for the business.
5. Work in tandem with the Global Marketing Team to drive strategic growth for Company's portfolio of brands.
6. Ensure effective control of marketing results, taking corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
7. Provide leadership within the management group, develop the marketing team & provide mentorship to direct reports.
8. Full responsibility and management of the Marketing Team, while maintaining two direct reports (Consumer Insights & Innovation Manager & Marketing Manager).
Requirements:
o 3rd level/Bachelor's degree preferably in a business, marketing, food related discipline
o A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the CPG area, ideally within Marketing specific arena.
o A thorough knowledge of the US retail & consumer market
o Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to provide strategic input to the business.
o Capable of initiating and driving change.
o Outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships
o Team player, skilled at balancing the requirements of the Company and the Group
o An established track record of managing and leading teams
o Position requires up to 35% travel both domestic & international.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
