Evanston based property management firm currently seeking a part time (20-25 hours/week) Assistant Property Manager for our condominium/town-homes properties located in Chicago and North Suburbs; with at least 1 year of experience in homeowner association, property management or related field.
You will be assisting a property manager in the management of his/her portfolio of small to midsize condominium associations.
The professional candidate must be detail oriented, well organized and demonstrate the ability to proactively multitask in a highly energetic fast paced business environment.
The professional candidate must have the skills to develop and maintain strong business relationships with the respective community associations, Board of Directors, owners and vendors. The professional candidate must be outgoing, team orientated and be willing to assist other managers and office support as necessary. Successful candidates for the position will be capable of working professionally under limited supervision and be responsible to coordinate all property management, maintenance, and limited construction activities associated with small to midsize condominium & town-home communities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Direct contact /Communication with homeowners, board members, contractors, engineers, and real estate professionals.
- Coordination and scheduling of routine maintenance.
- Take resident concerns/requests pertaining to any/all building related issues
- Contact and place service orders with maintenance staff or specialty vendors/contractors
- Process invoices & prepare budget package for each condo associations
- Solicit bids for maintenance work
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned that include assistance with general property management issues and policies including administrative projects and tasks as assigned by the property manager
- Preparation of meeting materials, notices, memos, other correspondence & mailings
- Assist other property managers as needed
- Filing association documents and keeping accurate records
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to prioritize duties as required, be flexible and work independently while completing tasks in a timely manner
- Proficient in all basic MS Office applications (mainly word, excel)
- Minimum college degree or equivalent
- Proficiency with YARDI a plus
- Excellent customer service

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
