We are seeking a skilled Pasta Maker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and creating delicious pastas.
This role involves preparing fresh pasta from scratch and ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
Functionally reports to the Fresh Pasta Lead.
Duties:
- Prepare fresh pasta dough following traditional recipes - Able to distunguish, identify, and label different pasta shapes and types - Operate pasta-making equipment such as pasta machines and cutters - Shape, cut, and cook pasta according to specific recipes - Ensure the quality and consistency of the pasta products - Effectively communicate in order to perform and follw job requirements in writted and spoken direction - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pasta-making area -Performs other duties as required or assigned Requirements:
- Available for 5am shift start time, 40
hour weeks, and weekends as needed - Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment, Italian preferred - Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently - Positive work ethic, communication, and time management skills - Basic math and measuring skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Join our team as a Pasta Maker and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional pastas for some of Chicagoland's busiest and tastiest Italian restaurants.
