Job Description:
The Program Assistant (PA), an administrative position for NUANCE Center faculty director and VPD Group, coordinates administrative processes and prioritizes, directs, and responds to business matters involving administrative functions associated with education, research, and/or operations.
Creates and maintains associated documents, spreadsheets, databases, meetings, special events, etc.
and alerts supervisor of critical issues and upcoming events.
Requested skills include:
Intermediate knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software programs is required; Proven communication, interpersonal and analytic skills; Adept at project management; Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines; Demonstrated competency in organization management and financial stewardship; Proactive, energetic, innovative; Ability to work independently and yet is an accomplished team player; Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Qualifications Required:
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience; Strong writing skills; High level of organizational skills and attention to detail; Diligent and can work independently; Experience working with confidential information; Professionalism; Flexibility, adaptability in a fast paced environment.
Software Required:
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
